Konocti Unified School District Complaint Process
Safety Complaint - Below are two forms that should be utilized if anyone has a facilities safety issue. If you fill one of these out, KEA requests that you let us know or better yet, give us a copy of the form you turned in. If you are uncomfortable filling out a complaint form because you are a probationary member please let your KEA Site Rep know and they will fill it out on your behalf. District Complaint - Board policy says that complaints "by an employee alleging misapplication of the district's policies, regulations, rules, or procedures or for "whistleblower" complaints by an employee or job applicant regarding improper district activity including, but not limited to an allegation of gross mismanagement, a significance waste of funds, an abuse of authority, or a specific danger to public health or safety" Here is a link to the Complaint Form
- "The Board prohibits retaliation against complaints. The Superintendent or designee may keep a complaint's identity confidential, except necessary to investigate the complain"
- "All matters related to a complaint shall be kept confidential and any document, communication, or record regarding the complaint shall be placed in a separate file and shall not be placed in an employee's file.
- If supplied with evidence KEA will file a complaint on an administrator on behalf of a probationary member.
